Troop 1 of Mahopac is celebrating its 93rd year!

 Welcome!

Troop 1 of Mahopac New York is a Scout led troop, mentored by adults.

Troop 1 is chartered by The Rotary Club of Lake Mahopac, and is a part of the Croton River District, under the Greater Hudson Valley Council umbrella of Scouting America (formerly B.S.A. – Boy Scouts of America).

As a scout’s journey begins, they become active in our troop. It is our hope that scouts learn, mature, then mentor younger Scouts for their own personal growth.

Scouts in our troop have the opportunity to go on many adventures, learn new skills, and have fun! Yes – we do nature “stuff” like camping, hiking, learn things about our planet, our environment, how people with different skills do their jobs, learn how to swim, and much more.

We meet every Tuesday at 7:00PM at The First Presbyterian Church of Mahopac on Secor Rd at Route 6N. The entrance is between the building and parking lot. Questions or for more information see the “Contact Us” link
